I worked at the Buick factories in Flint Michigan starting in October 1972 and left in 1997 for work at Baycity Powertrain, I also worked at the old "Chevy In The Hole" during the downtime from Buick. I also did night school course's at the Chevy V8 site working in the dynamometer room on Van Slyke road in 1970. I am now retired living in the Midlands of the lower peninsula of Michigan. I am not doing this blog for any credit or financial gain. I'm just trying to share some of my limited knowledge of the place I worked. I'm sure some will be proven not as accurate as everyone would like but there is a lot of good information for anyone interested in this subject. I spend many hours to insure the accuracy of this history. The reason I make these postings is because It was hard to find anything on the internet pertaining to the buildings or the people who actually built the cars. So I would welcome any feedback on anything I post pertaining to the Buick Factories.
