Factory #05 Enamel Plant 1922

This view looking north at factory #05 the Buick Enameling plant located directly north across the street from factory #10. This street was still in existence up until 1974 when the opening through factory #04 assembly was walled up to create the engine line for final assembly of the big car line. I was a relief-man on that new line. You will notice this is the same steam pipe as shown in the factory #10 photo. The brace on the pipe is the same as the #10 photo. The pipe goes off to the west to factory #12 crossing the rail line. There is a bridge from the second floor angling off to the south east to factory #07.
