Factory #12 The Early Years

This image is facing south at the southeast corner. The Sloan Museum has this labeled as the detail shop from 1910.




This view looking north up Industrial Avenue from around 1923 shows the factory before the big addition. At the extreme right you can see factory #05. Also at the south end of #12 at this time was the building you came to when you would pick your vehicle up from the factory (Factory Drive-away). I also want you to notice a traffic cop instead of a signal light at this intersection. At this time Flint had no traffic lights even downtown.
