This is the first Flint built Buick that Walter Marr the chief engineer for Buick drove to Detroit and back to show the reliability of the vehicle for James H. Whiting the manager of the Flint Wagon Works. His passenger was the son of David Dunbar Buick-Thomas D. Buick. This photo taken at east first street near the corner at Saginaw st. downtown Flint Michigan July 12th, 1904. This view is facing east down first st. First Buick announced.
