This photo of the original Weston Mott factory is interesting due to the fact that Oak park is still uncut at the north-end of the building, the office structure is still original with no addition, and the west wing is still one story. You will also notice that they laid brick between the streetcar tracks. The steel pipe used for fencing off the lawn has yet to be put in place. This picture is from 1906. |
